ABOUT VIVA TECHNOLOGY
 
VivaTech is the world’s rendez-vous for startups and leading corporates to celebrate digital transformation and innovation!

Every year, for four adrenaline-filled days, VivaTech brings together in Paris and online the greatest business leaders, startups, investors, researchers and innovators to ignite positive change in business and for society.

The 7th edition will take place on June 14-17, 2023, in Paris, at Expo Porte de Versailles.

 
 
ABOUT FEMTECH FRANCE
 
Femtech France is the collective of femtech entrepreneurs which aims at:

- Supporting the development of innovative projects in the field of women's health in France,
- Creating synergies between the different members of the ecosystem: project leaders, startups and manufacturers, healthcare professionals, research laboratories, healthcare structures, etc.
- Taking part in the debates and strategic reflections on the political, technological and societal challenges of our sector.

In 2022 Femtech France organnized a first bootcamp to train femtech entrepreneurs. 20 hours of online class to get knowledge on 3 topics: gynecology, the French healthcare system, and the femtech industry.


 

HOW CAN INNOVATION IMPROVE WOMEN'S HEALTH?



From menstruations to menopause or contraception, how can AI, platforms, apps, or any kind of innovation drive things forward? We are looking for innovative products, services & drugs which will make a difference for women's health.

Femtech France supports entrepreneurs innovating in women's health. Entering this challenge gives you the opportunity to be selected for their next bootcamp, a 20-hour training to gynecology, healthcare system in France and the femtech industry.

WHY THIS CHALLENGE?



Context / Need:
Women's health has been neglected for so long, the "femtech" industry has came up to change this. How can we leverage innovation to improve women's health?

Expected Solutions:
We are looking for products, services, drugs built for women to improve their health. We are also seeking projects with values, the ones who want to make an impact.
Scope:
Women's health (globally or by segment: menstruations, contraception, fertility, maternity, post partum, abortion, chronic diseases, cancer, menopause, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer, etc.)

SELECTION CRITERIA


Industry:  

Startups should be in the femtech industry = developing innovations to improve women's health

Technology:  

The technology can be 100% for women or it can be an existing technology that the startup want to extend to women

Maturity:  

Startups should be at least 6 months old

Geography:  

As the bootcamp will be in French, only startups from French speaking countries can apply to the challenge
