Orange Fab France is currently launching a call for applications "Women start" to speed up start-ups initiated by women. Its particularity is that it is directly aimed at women entrepreneurs. At Orange, we are convinced that gender diversity fosters innovation, better team performance and employee well-being. We didn't doubt it for a moment, but the figures prove unequivocally that when women are addressed directly, they respond!
The primary goal of the acceleration is the signing of a commercial partnership with an Orange business unit.

Every year Orange Fab France launches several calls for applications. We select start-ups with innovative projects, a cohesive team and who meet an identified need for an Orange Business Unit. Beyond tech, these women-led startups offer complementary solutions in the areas of HR, social, diversity and inclusion etc., which are necessary in any company.

1A. “Green AI”
By drawing up ethical guidelines for transparency, fairness and good governance, data and AI technologies can positively contribute to meeting the major challenges of our time. Think frugality, ethical and trustworthy AI.
We are looking for innovative “Green AI” solutions including AI models with lower computational costs and fewer carbon emissions, algorithms and every innovative solution (as low/no code solution) serving sustainability.
1B. Sustainability and “AI for green”, an essential connection in the fight against climate change
AI technologies" as tools for measuring and managing energy efficiency, carbon impact.
We’re looking for solutions to understand and apprehend those subjects as a whole, to measure gas emissions and other environmental impacts and to manage and reduce these impacts.
2 – Energy and decarbonization:
The exponential increase of energy bills, the climate emergency, the geopolitical context, the scarcity of resources, new regulations. All these factors require us to rethink and to adapt the way we produce and consume energy.
We are looking for solutions based on energy sobriety, energy efficiency, frugality, renewable energies, energy and digital technologies (energy management) and energy saving (from load shedding to control and measurement optimization solutions).
3 - The Circular Economy: a global challenge for a sustainable use of resources
We have identified 3 levers:
- The development of processes with a low ecological footprint
- The shift from a product economy to a functionality economy as recycling for example
- Optimize the use of products throughout their life cycle
We are looking for efficient solutions, from the collection to the extension of the life cycle of a product until its CO2 certification.
Expected solutions:
The ecological impact of the proposed solution must be measured by a proven methodology.
